Wind Wanderer Storytelling

Theatrical: - I attended the Perth Waldorf School where my class and I performed at least one play each year from class 7 onwards. Since leaving school I have performed in and/or been involved with more than half a dozen community plays. I have also had a little experience on camera.

Storytelling:

1997 – Year 12 Project, A year 12 equivalent of a university honours project – included practical component (organise and put on an hour of storytelling), theses and 1hr presentation.

2004 – Storymedicine Course – School of Integral Art

2005 – Therapeutic Storytelling – Intensive two week course with Nancy Mellon

2006 – Joined Jenny Hill (Professional Storyteller) in organising the Friday Night Storytelling Café. This is a monthly not for profit event to encourage and facilitate storytelling for adults. Each month we find two or three storytellers (one or two of which get paid) to perform to our audiences, which vary from 20 to 40 in number.

2006 – Started Own Business – Wind Wanderer Storytelling

2006 – Residency at Sekola Bunda Mulia, Jakarta. During a week long program I worked with each class from Pre-primary to Year 12.

2007 – Formed the “Elegant Pedlars” with Gosia Basinska (Musician) and Jaya Penelope (Poet) combining storytelling, poetry and music in integrated performances.

2008 – Continue work as professional storyteller at schools, libraries, children's parties, and festivals.
